There were two friends. They lived in a certain village. They promised that they would help each other at the time of danger.

One day they were passing through a deep forest. Suddenly a bear came in front of them. So both of them were afraid to see the bear and thought that what to do?

One of the friends forgets his promise. He climbed up a tree nearby. He didn't think what would happen to his other friend. The other friend didn't know how to climb up a tree. But he heard that bear does not touch a dead body.

So finding no other alternative he lay down on the ground, stopped breathing, and pretended as a deadman.

The bear came to him smelt his mouth, ears, and nose. He took the man for a deadman and left the place without doing any harm.

When the bear had gone away, the first friend got down from the tree and asked his friend "What did the bear whisper into your ears?" Then the other friend replied, "The bear gives me good advice. It told me, "Never trust a friend who leaves his friend in danger."

What is the moral of the story?

This story teaches us that we should never trust or believe a friend who doesn't appear in a dangerous time. We should be very careful in choosing the best friend.
