1. Where there is a will there is a way.

It was a hot summer day and a crow become very thirsty. It began to move here and there in search of drinking water but in vain.
The crow did not lose hope. It, at last notice a jar at a little distance. It at once flew to the jar but he could not drink water. There was a little water at the bottom of the jar. It was out of his reach. 
He tried to turn over the jar and but failed. It was too heavy for him. He becomes very sad. 
Then he decided to fly away in despite. As he was leaving the place he saw a heap of pebbles nearby.
A new idea came to his mind. The crow carried the pebbles one after another to the jar. 
After a while, the water rose up little by little up to the little of the jar.
The crow drink it to his satisfaction and flew away happily.

Lina is a student of class ten. One day in the afternoon she was gossiping with her friend beside a pond near her house. While gossiping she noticed two small boys quarreling over a trifling matter.
She did not take it seriously thinking that their quarrel would come to an end soon. But her idea proved wrong after a moment.
The mother of the boy hears her son's crying. She came to the spot and saw her small son quarreling with another boy of a neighbor. 
She lost her temper and clapped the other boy and began to rebuke him.
The mother of the other boy heard it and she also came out of her home.
Thus the mother of the two small boys began quarreling. The father of the two boys joined the quarrel.
A large crowd gathered there.

3.The crow and the clever fox.

One day a crow stole a piece of meat. It flew away and sat on a branch of a tree. Suddenly a fox came and sat under the tree. 
The fox saw the piece of meat in the mouth of the crow and wished to have that. But the crow was out of his reach. So he made a plan.
He began to praise the crow. He said to the crow, " What a beautiful bird you are! How sweet your voice is! I am sorry I have not heard your song for a long time. Would you sing a song, please?"
The crow was highly pleased with this flattery. Being flattered he opened his mouth to sing a song. 
At once the piece if meat dropped from his mouth to the ground. 
The cunning fox took it and ran away.

4. The Honesty Of a Boy

One day a boy was going to school. Suddenly he saw a moneybag dropped by someone on the road. He was quite at a loss. He thought for a while. 
The moneybag was dropped by a passerby. He looked around but did not see anybody. He showed it to some of his friends. They told him to use the money for herself. There was a lot of money in the moneybag.
The boy was very honest. He said to his friends, "Honesty is the best policy. I will try to find out the real owner of the moneybag." In the bag, he finds the address and the telephone number of the owner.
Then he went to a telephone shop and phoned the owner and told him about his missing moneybag.
Then the man went to the boy's home. 
Then he came out of home and return the moneybag. 
The owner thanked him and wanted to give him some money. But the boy refuses to take it. 
He said, " You have got back your moneybag and I am glad at this."

5.The Honesty of the poor farmer

Once there lived a poor but worthy farmer in a village. With the small income of his few in acres of land, he used to support himself. Had 5 children.
One day while walking through the fields he was thinking of how he could add to his income. Suddenly he found a piece of gold.
The purse of gold was dropped by a passer-by. He carried it home and showed it to his wife. His wife was so greedy and advised him to use it.
The honest farmer told his wife that Honesty is the best policy and he would try to find out the real owner of the piece of gold.
At last, the farmer found out the owner of the piece of gold.
The rich man took the gold and gave him thanks but no reward. The wife of the farmer rebuked him for his foolishness.
